Fitness pointers:

Start slowly – begin with a daily activity goal of 10 minutes and add a few more minutes every day.
Gradually build up to 30-60 minutes of physical activity a day.
Get your body moving – often!
Include a variety of activities in your routine – aim for activities that improve your endurance, flexibility, strength and balance.
Call the YMCA or your local Parks and Recreation Dept. for a list of recreational activities and fitness classes
